Want to call the APIs using an ARM-based device.
Hence like to compile the libraries to execute in an environment based on AArch64.
Request you to share the supporting libraries if Feasible.We currently do not support ARM based CPUs for any of our products. Our devices are recommended for use with Intel x86/x64 CPUs.

+1 for ARM64 support.
Right now we have a dedicated x86 machine for the signal hound and portability has basically gone out the window. We find ourselves taking our big SA on field trips because it’s simply less effort than dragging another computer along. All of us in the company are on ARM Macs, and with the industry shifting that way, we see more and more ARM laptops coming in the future. Regardless of OS.
If you already have Linux support, surely it shouldn’t be that hard to rebuild for ARM64. Is it really not possible?
We think it would add massive value to your tools. Meanwhile, there are a lot of competing solutions emerging that basically support any OS. It’s almost free to recompile to a different architecture these days
Thanks for the feedback. We are continually evaluating ARM as a target. It is unfortunately more involved than a recompile (otherwise we would definitely have done it!), there are large amounts of x86 specific code that need to be rewritten/refactored for ARM.

Sorry to keep beating a dead horse here. But really would like to have ARM support. I know you guys keep saying it’s not “Easy” but what would it take to help motivate this?
Crowd funding, Upgrade fee or whatever you want to use or call it. I would gladly pay it to help make this happen. Spike is literally the only software that makes me carry an entire separate machine on my travels these days.
Echoing others, please add ARM support. I used to used Spike on x86 Macs under Parallels. Now that Apple silicon is several years old, that’s no longer an option. Please provide modern Mac support!
Also, embedded Linux (Raspberry Pi, etc.) would be enormously helpful.

Knock knock… Time for another poke about ARM support. With Windows dropping Laptop 7 and Surface Pro 11 both with Qualcomm Chips it’s time to stop the resistance.
With the push for AI these days, one would assume that it could do a good portion of the code re-write heavy lifting. But I’m no code writer. What I do know is I’m actively looking to not have to drag multiple computer around.
Count me as another vote for ARM support! Right now I need to lug two computers to every job site because my BB60C is Intel only 😢
We have made one small step in this direction yesterday with the release of the SP145 API for the Nvidia Jetson AGX Orin platform. This is a highly requested pairing. It supports sweeps and I/Q streaming with some minor limitations. Hopefully some of you here or future visitors looking for ARM platform support can benefit from these efforts.

SP145 is not only much more expensive as it is probably a lesser solution for Wideband monitoring such as the required by AV companies.
Any update on the road map?I’ll save you the hassle. Signalhound has ZERO interest in supporting current computing technology. They will not support ARM for the BB series.
I would look at Harogic stuff. I have had numerous discussions with them and they know that ARM is the current AND future. They have a significantly better outlook and response on ARM. They currently support ARM on Linux and will be releasing Windows ARM support in the next month or so. I have a NXM-80 (Ethernet Version) arriving in the next week as a loaner from Harogic until they get the Windows ARM working for my SAM-80 I purchased.
I’m using this thread as the general update thread on our ARM progress since it has the most visibility and comments on our forum. We are very much interested in supporting the ARM architecture and have been slowly adding support since our last update.
In our SDK we now have API builds for both the SP145 and SM200/435 for both the Nvidia Jetson Orin AGX and MacOS (M4 CPU). These APIs support a subset of functionality, namely sweeps and I/Q streaming with decimations up to 4, which hopefully covers most use cases. 10GbE support for our SM devices is also not supported on the Mac build, just the USB variants for now.
We are continuing to develop capability on ARM to support a larger subset of our APIs and new APIs altogether, (I.E. the BB60 API).
We appreciate everyone’s feedback and patience.
