The armed message indicates a trigger was not found for the specific capture but it is still looking for the next trigger. If you were to press “Single” then the software would update until the first trigger was found and stop. We determined updating the screen with the armed message is a good way to show the user the software is still looking for a trigger without pausing the software completely.
