I found the Win8 scaling settings and made it 100%.
Now the problem appears to be gone.
However, now the text of the Windows GUI is about 4pt.
Got any plans to make your program compatible with Win8 scaling? I can imagine a lot of people running it on Win8 tablets and laptops.
